Addict is most certainly addictive. It's HOT and electrifying. This book manages to capture the thrill and the downsides to sex addiction: the guilt, the shame, the vulnerability. I like that despite having this issue, Alix is still a professional with a great job. I found John's job as a sex therapist to be at odds with this behavior and his approach to be a bit strange, which bothered me a little at first but not enough to make me stop reading. 

I was completely in this author's trance as she told the story of Alix and John's discovery of each other , their Master/sub relationship and themselves. 

Great book, great characters, great plot.

I have written in F/F, F/F/M, F/F/F and then of course F/M genres.... So, beware, I do not always have the most 'traditional' scenes. And one day I will venture into M/M, just have to find the time. 

I love to try new things and learn from every piece of work I write. I'll write just about anything once to learn from it. I've even ventured out of my normal erotica genre into Monster Erotica. Doubt you'll find me writing anything not erotic as you can barely get me to even read something out of that category, but then again, you never know what I might try next. 

Never stop learning. Try everything at least once.

I really liked where this book was going and all of a sudden.... BAM! Just when it was getting started, it ends. 

Katrina is a widow who knew her life needed more than vanilla. The story revolves around her and Serpent's Kiss, her BDSM club managed with excellence, hygiene and privacy. The plot mostly consists of Katrina interviewing Drew, a prospective new member who doesn't know much about the lifestyle and calls himself a submissive. Firefighter Drew captures Katrina's attention. It also captures the ins and outs of the club in general and its employees, who seem to have dramas all their own. That's basically it. 

It sets the pace for what could be a great series or book, so I really want to continue reading.I just wish I would've known I'd have to wait for the next one before picking this one up. This book doesn't end in a cliffhanger, just to make that clear. But it does stop right when things start to happen, which is the reason I'm giving it 3.5 stars. I get its a 0.5, but a little bit more would've done the trick, in my opinion. 

AUTHOR

Sherri spent most of her childhood detesting English class. It was one of her least favorite subjects because she never seemed to fit into the standard mold. She wasn’t good at spelling, or following grammar rules, and outlines made her head spin. For that reason, Sherri never imagined becoming an author.

At the age of thirty, all of that changed. After getting frustrated with the direction a television show was taking two of its characters, Sherri decided to try her hand at writing an alternate ending, and give the characters their happily ever after. By the time the story finished, it was one of the top ten read stories on the site, and her readers were encouraging her to write more.

Writing has become a creative outlet for Sherri that allows her to explore a wide range of emotions, while having fun taking her characters through all the twists and turns she can create. Before the driver could pull the car out of the parking lot, Jillian was talking a mile a minute. Paige seemed to be following it all, but Erin felt lost while she watched them banter like a tennis match.
